We serve meals every evening from 6.00pm to 9.00pm (7.00pm to 9.00pm on Sundays).  

Booking is advised to avoid disappointment. As all our dishes are prepared to order you might experience a wait during busy times.

Evening Menu


Soup of the day served with a bread roll & butter                                                                                                           

Homemade chicken liver pâté with clarified butter and pink peppercorns served with toast                    

Breaded wedge of brie served with a cranberry and orange jam and dressed leaves 


King prawns in tomato and chilli sauce with wilted spinach and toasted ciabatta


Prawn cocktail with lime and dill mayonnaise, served with wholemeal bread                                            


Pan-fried button mushrooms bound in a creamy garlic and chive sauce, presented on a thick slice of toast

All our steaks are locally sourced by our butchers F Doncaster of Newark and aged for 28 days.

All steaks served with hand-cut chips, dressed salad and roasted vine tomatoes.


8oz ribeye steak with sautéed mushrooms, beer-battered onion rings


16oz rump steak with sautéed mushrooms, beer-battered onion rings

Lamb shank slow-cooked lamb shank in a rich rosemary and mint gravy, served on a bed of chive mash
